Data

The British Oceanographic Data Centre (BODC) has responsibility for the management of datasets arising from AMT cruises.  All data will be collated into a relational database and documented for future use.

The AMT community is committed to making its data available as soon as possible after collection.  Core CTD and underway data sets are publicly accessible and are available to download, with documentation about data processing, on the BODC website.  Click on the “Online access to CTD and underway data” link at http://www.bodc.ac.uk/projects/uk/amt to register.

The availability of other data sets is defined by a schedule set out in the AMT data policy.  Queries about data availability should be directed to  BODC (enquiries@bodc.ac.uk).

In addition to managing data from the current phase of AMT, BODC is also collating datasets from cruises between 1995 – 2000.  This process is ongoing.  For further details, see the BODC web pages.

AMT satellite ocean colour imagery is available from http://www.research.plym.ac.uk/geomatics/amt/index.html
