Workshop objectives: A
meeting will be held including the principle scientists of the BASIN SSA as
well as key players from the scientific communities of the EU, US, and
Canada to:
a) Finalize, based on the outcomes of Workshops 2 and 3,
the scientific plan to be performed inside the North Atlantic
basin-scale research programme;
b) Develop an international science plan
following an implementation approach for consideration by international
funding agencies, based on highlighted scientific gaps, and employing state
of the art observational and modelling approaches identified in WP 2-3.
